The hotel there was called something Hill Resort (going just off memory)
Remember when they carved that huge new road out of the jungle around the headland, back in about 2016 or 2017 ?, after they rebuild the little bridge the year before. Little did anybody know that that was the start of the complete destruction of Otres as we knew it
I know the big words make your cock feel bigger, but I’m just an old truck driver keep it simple aye!

That halfass concrete pier was put in illegally around 5 years ago by Sokha to take building materials out to a project in Koh Rong and they ordered them to dismantle it. I bet a Khmer girl $50 that within one year, it would be gone. Guess I lost that bet.
Looks like a real sh*tshow in that area now.

It was a good hotel, good people hope it's survived.

Lucky you, you didn't lose that bet as it's not the same pier. That one was dismantled years ago. This is totally new, approved by HE himself. It's part of their coastal development plan, you know Kampot tourist ferry port etc.Cooldude wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 4:07 pm That halfass concrete pier was put in illegally around 5 years ago by Sokha to take building materials out to a project in Koh Rong and they ordered them to dismantle it. Glazing has been added in last 2-3 months, so there has to be few construction workers working at least.Strawberryshake wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 4:34 pm

Ok. Whereabouts is this new pier then? I still can't make heads or tails out of these pictures.rogerrabbit wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 6:59 pmLucky you, you didn't lose that bet as it's not the same pier. That one was dismantled years ago. The new one is pretty much exactly between Otres 1 and 2. When the Royal Group's (not Sokha) pier was bit further down at Otres 2.Cooldude wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 7:14 pmOk.
