Cambodia News (Kampong Speu): On January 1, 2021, a woman who worked at a mango farm was found dead in Dong village, Phnom Srouch district, Kampong Speu. Police suspect that the victim, Jim Pha, 55 years old, was murdered.

The victim worked as a farm guard with her husband, Puth Phan, 68 years old. The farm owner was identified as Leng Chanthany, who lives in Phnom Penh.
On the day of the incident, the victim's husband left the farm to build a fence for his children in Phnom Srouch district. At 5 pm, he came back to the mango farm, but his wife was missing. He went to search for her at his family's house in the village, and she didn't pick up his call. He returned to the farm, where he found his wife's body, covered in blood, 20 meters away from the camp.

After the post mortem examination, the police suspected that the victim was murdered. She was hit on the head with a blunt instrument and her throat was sliced open. After killing the victim, the killer took the victim's phone and ran away. The suspect left a knife, a bag that contained 36,000 riels, and a gold necklace. The victim's husband got questioned at the police station. The body was returned to the family for funeral preparation.
