FPCS and visa renewal
Re: FPCS and visa renewal
Dont be overconfident. A few months ago an Immigration Police team plus head village and local police came to my house. It was clear they intended to arrest me for not being registered. I was able to satisfy them that I was registered and show them my new visa at that time. There is a real possibility they will come after you if you are not registered.Jerry Atrick wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 12:52 pm Basically, the system is a total joke and can be bypassed in myriad ways.
To no great surprise

The website is better than the app in my view. Also, I think I didn't update my visa number and they also didn't care about that.samrong01 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 12:38 pm You can also register on their website here:

I registered as both landlord and tenant. Note that the visa number can not be changed so you need to register again when you get a new visa number.

No they do care about that. Thats why the immigration came to my house. You need to reregister with your new visa number.daeum_tnaot wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 4:19 amThe website is better than the app in my view. 5 of them came to my house to inspect my documents and make sure I was not working on an R visa.

5 ?!?
Jesus christ, one guy with a clipboard would have sufficed.
I use the smart phone app and I was able to put my new visa extension number in without re registering. You just select 'edit check in' and plug in your new visa extension number and end date.

I had a platoon of the lads as well. I didn't get any vibe that they were going to arrest anybody.
More like jobsworths and forming a brain trust in case any decisions needed making.
Pretty commonly happening once a year, nothing to worry about in the least

Re: FPCS and visa renewal
My visa renewal agent told me I need to show a check out date of one year ahead.

Re: FPCS and visa renewal
My new employer did not require any registration on the FPCS, nor a passport photo to process my 12 month visa.
I've had to give a passport photo when renewing my annual visa for the past decade, I'm quite sure.
