Gunshots in Heng Heng Restaurant in Couple Quarrel

Cambodia News, (Kandal Province): At 11:00 pm on December 31, 2020, there were several explosions in the restaurant "Heng Heng", when a domestic dispute broke out between a couple enjoying dinner at the restaurant located at Street 21A in Sangkat Takhmao, Takhmao City, Kandal Province.
The event was triggered by a quarrel between the husband and wife, leading to the husband firing off his pistol in the restaurant.The suspect was immediately arrested and sent to the police. As for the restaurant "Heng Heng", the authorities decided to close it temporarily.

Kandal Provincial Police Commissioner Major General Chhoeun Socheat could not be reached for comment as he said he was in a meeting. A reliable source confirmed that the perpetrator was named Vireak Chea Taikong Lan.

I think it fair to say dinner didn't go down well..

And the perp fired the gun off several times to drive the point home? Lucky no one injured.

"couple enjoying dinner" so "firing off his pistol" is a euphemism, I take it.
