Yes. i get the picture

Jokes aside
Small < very, hyper boxy, horrible materials to live in, needs another layer of insulation, age badly, and..
** you can do better.
Oh yeah, 'ugly as Sin too

But that's just me.
I'm sure with a bit of loving care you could, in time, get the united nation human rights commission to allow it.

Those prefab container rooms would make the ideal base for a relocatable bathroom and kitchen unit. The rest of the house could be an old Khmer wooden house, which are fairly easy to move.

timmydownawell, I had mentioned prefabricated buildings early in the thread, because it would be easy to make the panels too plan. Also the materials are in Cambodia too make the panels with isolation and weather resistant.
What of this? I happened to see these non my way out of Koh Kong last visit.

That's cute. When (if) I ever get to do this I'll be wanting to keep costs as low as possible, even if the final result will later be sold. But yes, custom would be nicer.

Like I said this build is on road 48 just on the left hand side has you leave Koh Kong, it is not the only one, being that there a few more identical standing on the plot of land. I looked it up via Google maps, thinking that it may have bean a resort. But sorry I was unable to find, it's possible it could be a private site.
You have mentioned like a steal framework of the panels. Here you could use hardboard for the outer and inner Wallis, the surface can be treated by a good paint product, in fact the inner wall would look fine, just leaving the natural look, the outside could even have the steal roof panels pre .
Insulation of the panel would be to keep the inside living area cool, there are materials such has polystyrene blocks or even plastic water bottles. Fittings and electricity system can be preinstalled. Prefabrication has good advantages. With a good detailed plans drawn up, small construction area needed for working would be easy, being that the hardboard comes in size of 8x4 feet, plus you would order all steel cut to size, then it is the case of drilling and bolting the panels in size and the amount of your requirements.

@nemo Yeah I have seen Mekong Homes online, they look quite good but are too big and permanent for me. And the mobile houses above are too small (and also they look like the 'site office' type ones I posted earlier, on the inside). I may as well just start with those and configure my own.
