The victim was identified as Orn Siborn, a 70-year-old woman, a housewife. One suspect, Chea Money, a 55-year-old woman, was arrested, while another suspect ran away to escape.

Lieutenant Roeun Nara said before the incident, and the victim was buying some cakes from a witness named Ny Thavy, a 16-year-old girl. Suddenly, two suspects came close to the victim and pickpocketed the victim's bag, stealing a phone before they slipped away.

The unsuspecting grandma didn't notice anything was amiss until the cake-seller asked her if she had lost a phone. The victim checked her bag, and her phone was missing.
The witness said she knew the thieves and she would search for them. The witness caught one of the suspects and found nothing. She told the victim to keep her eye on the suspect, while she tracked down the other suspect. After that, she caught the suspect named Chea Mony, and she found the victim's phone.


During this time, the first suspect ran off, but the old lady recovered her phone, thanks to the young cake-seller, and one suspect was placed under arrest.
