Cambodia News (Kandal): Kandal Royal Gendarmerie collaborated with the Phnom Penh Royal Gendarmerie in a crack down on a gang of Chinese drug traffickers with 1kg of drugs.

On December 19, 2020, at street 21B, in Sangkat Takmao city, Takmao Royal Gendarmerie arrested a 35-year-old Chinese man, KEI CHEING, who was stopping his motorbike to make a drug deal. The Royal Gendarmerie officers questioned and searched the Chinese man and found 2 packs of ICE (mathamphetamine) as well as 7 packets of K (ketamine).
The police confiscated an Air Black motorbike, two phones, and money for 23200 riels. The suspect said he had bought the drugs from an unknown Chinese man in Phnom Penh.

Subsequently, on December 20, 2020, the police force went to the suspect's house in Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmie, and arrested 3 men in possession of drugs.
The three other suspects were identified as JiN YUAN, a 33-year-old Chinese man, CHANG FA, a 36-year-old Chinese man, and Yeab Anphoeung, a 25-year-old Vietnamese man. After the arrest, the police confiscated 13 big packs and 8 small packs of drugs weighing a total of 1169.3 grams, 2 scales, a car, drug equipment, a gun case, 3 phones, and others. The suspect, JINYUAN, confessed that he bought those drugs from a Malaysian man named Pang Along, in room no. 2701 on the 27th-floor at A building, Skyline .


On December 22, 2020, Kandal prosecutor led the police force to check the room in Sky Line place, in Sangkat Veal Vong, Khan Prami Makara, Phnom Penh. The police found evidence in the room, such as a powder and gel drug substance weighing 1389.6 grams, a bottle of liquid for 1444.2 grams, drug equipment for 645.5 grams, a pack of purple drugs, the equipment for producing drugs, a note of a drug recipe, a Range Rover car, and some other documents.
