I'm usually there semi-regularly for the eggs Benedict and tight skirts.............I'll be sure to check out this mixed grill. :thumb:
In fairness to @Username Taken it is in fact steak, potatoes and salad, with a few prawns thrown in and a nice pepper sauce; perhaps "mixed grill" is a bit of stretch. But it is worth $10 all said and done. Steak was lovely.
I would go as far as saying its a Surf and Turf as apposed to a mixed grill, looks the goods for 10 bucks - ill be there tonight
definitely more a surf and turf, exactly what i thought lol still looks decent! :beer3:

No Black Pudding? That's not a mixed grill.

Well, for what it is worth, I was born and bred in the Black Country and always had Black Pud, local butcher made Black Pud at that not the effete stuff they serve up as Black Pud these days with my mixed grills. But each unto their own.

Either porridge or a good kipper were for breakfast. Preferably a pair of kippers if we could afford it. In the days that a kipper really was a kipper. Kippers were served on the old LMS rail in those days, pre Beeching or was it Beaching?

How do you finish all this meat?

The Metro surf and turf looks like a great plate for 2 people or so.

The Aussie’s Day plate needs a locker room full of guys to finish and the kabab plates needs a whole office of hungry workers.

The last time I had a full English was at the Cavern a life time ago. I had to enlist the stomachs of 2 cashiers and 3 waitresses to finish it all. And I still had meat sweats and wanted a bed to sleep in afterwards.

I am amazed at the meat capacity of all these members of CEO.

Carry on.
