Re: Chinese Police Can't Swim!
I would content the same is true for many Asian countries. Lack of public swimming pools, no PE at schools and, just as in China, a reluctance to get involved.
Re: Chinese Police Can't Swim!
Why would they need to swim when 1.4 billion of them are on the land?
Then again they don't seem to being to bad in the south China seas!

Re: Chinese Police Can't Swim!
Splashing in mud puddles or flooded streets and rice paddies during monsoon time does not make a superb swimmer. I still hold missus across the deep end of the swimming pool. She still prefers the dog paddle, despite being taught freestyle, breast stroke, and back stroke.armchairlawyer wrote:I know you're joking. You’re seriously kidding, right?

I used to like that Serpenza guy before he “left” China but now he’s on a mission to slate his once home and covers it with blaming the Chinese government, but it’s still China and Chinese people.
I wonder what his wife thinks of it all?

Don’t listen to Chinese whispers.

Nope. Every Khmer from the provinces that I have known is a superb swimmer, the only exception being the ones who grew up in Phnom Penh.newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 1:09 amSplashing in mud puddles or flooded streets and rice paddies during monsoon time does not make a superb swimmer. When I worked in SR, virtually none of my staff could swim.
