Cannabis disguised as teabags found in Chatham package

Cannabis disguised as teabags and sent from Chatham to Cambodia has led to the arrest of a man from Gillingham.

Officers were carrying out an investigation after a package was sent from Chatham to Cambodia but was intercepted by a courier company.

The package was found to contain drugs disguised as teabags and were sent with other everyday items.

As part of the investigation a 61-year-old man from Gillingham was arrested on 9 December 2020 on suspicion of being concerned in the production and supply of cannabis.

He has since been released pending further enquiries.

Is a "knob" a very stupid person? There is plenty of marijuana available in SE Asia. Why send from Kent? Just ask any tuk tuk driver if you want to buy. Like sending mangos or durian from Kent to Cambodia.

The stuff tuk tuk drivers sell is so bad that I'm not surprised people are trying to smuggle buds in. That said, it's fucking ridiculous sending it that direction and there must be easier ways to get some decent bud. 8)

There are different levels of tuk tuk drivers, I guess. I know ones that sell the best bud ever along with a treasure trove of other effective and safe drugs. When I want stolen goods like firearms or eye phones or appliances, tuk tuk drivers hook me up with the best products. Likewise when I want a hooker. Just specify what you want.
