Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On December 2, 2020, at 12:10 am, a 39-year-old man, Run Em, a farmer, had 5000 USD stolen, which was switched for $600 of ghost money, at a massage shop, in street 2004, Sangkat Katab 1, Khan Porsechey, Phnom Penh.

Before the incident, 3 men went from Svay Rieng to Phnom Penh to sell a car for 10.500 USD. So then, they all went to get a massage to celebrate the happy event. They took off their clothes and got the massage and had a great time.

But then, suddenly, a man rode up on a motorbike, stopped in front of the massage shop, and yelled " Police are coming!". The 3 men were scared, so they decided to quickly leave the massage shop and took a tuk-tuk to the guesthouse. But when the farmer checked his backpack, he realized that he had lost money 5000 USD, which was replaced by $600 of fake USD.

The men returned to the massage shop, but the shop was closed, and the sign was taken out. A while later, a news reporter came for questioning and called the police for help, but no police came. So then the victim took a tuk-tuk to file a complaint at Katab 1 police station.

When will they ever learn not to take large sums of money into these lovely massage shops.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

I like the way the massage people replaced $5000 with only $600 of fake bills. Ripped off to the end. Lol. Like you wouldn't notice .
Or maybe they had run out of fake bills for the day.

That's one sad-ass story.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
