Fire Breaks Out in Phnom Penh Rice Mill

Cambodia Breaking News, (Phnom Penh): This morning, on November 26, 2020, a fire broke out at a rice mill along National Road 2 in Kandal Village, Sangkat Rolous, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh. Eight fire trucks of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police were ordered to immediately intervene.

In this operation, the police intervened at the rice mill at 9:53 in the morning. No one was injured in the blaze. The fire destroyed a rice dryer (3 meters x 20 meters), but did not spread to neighboring houses.

Police used 12 fire trucks to extinguish the blaze, including 4 trucks of water:
* 8 fire trucks of Phnom Penh Municipal Police (2 units use water)
* 3 fire trucks of Kandal Provincial Police (1 uses water)
* One fire truck of Cambodia Beer Company (uses water)
