(Allegedly)* Drunk (Allegedly)* Chinese Man Crashed his BMW into Power Pole

Breaking news from Cambodia can be found here. CEO often finds Khmer news and translates it into English for our readers if it is interesting to expats, locals, Cambodians living abroad and anyone who wants to stay informed of the latest local and international news stories about Cambodia and our neighbors in South East Asia. There are many sources for Khmer news articles and they can all be found here in one place. Most of the media comes out of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville, but we cover national Cambodian news from all provinces.

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On November 17, 2020, at 12:30 am, a (allegedly)drunk (alleged) Chinese man drove a car and crashed another car into an electrical pole on the street 2004, Sangkat Oubek Korm, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.
At the accident scene, a Tacoma serial 2006, plate no PP2BH-7665, driven by a (allegedly)drunk (alleged)Chinese national, crashed a BMW car into electrical police. There is some damage to both vehicles and to the electrical pole.

After the incident, the police detained the Chinese man, who escaped unharmed, and sent him to Khan Sen Sok police station. Both vehicles were taken to keep at the traffic police station, waiting to sort out the problem later.

* Khmer news says that the driver was "a drunk Chinese man". Due to a recent misunderstanding, with a news report of a sober Taiwanese driver described as a drunk Chinese national, CEO News has added "(allegedly)" to prevent further misunderstandings of this type. We have no further information other that what is reported in Khmer news. However, there is a good chance that the driver is in fact a drunk Chinese national. Thank you for your understanding.

The problem is the unequal distribution of law.
Making a law like they would likely harm Okhnas.

The laws currently on the books are problematic. Law says slander and libel are punishable by a low fine. Head of CNRP charged with libel and sent to prison. Judge decides the law, the evidence, and the punishment. Just like Judge Dredd. Except Khmer judges don’t roam the streets.
