Ex-Owner of Zeppelin Bar Hospitalized
General information for expats: For those of you who know Jun, the owner of the recently closed Zeppelin Bar in Phnom Penh, this was posted on social media on 15 November 2020.
Zeppelin Cafe
Last night Jun got the heart attack at Oscar bar, today got a surgery at hospital,got 3more stands,almost say goodbye to everyone.
Wishing him a speedy recovery.

Assuming stands = stents? That’s a massive amount of blockage which bodes ill for the rest of his arteries. Very hard road coming back from that. Wish him luck.

Used to pop into Zeppelin long ago and listen to Jun spin REAL vinyl. (I hope it was Jun playing the tunes. Correct me if I'm wrong.) And it got me out of Walkabout when I'd had enough Vietnamese for a while.
Whoa, that was 10-12 years ago. I used to fly to Phnom Penh from Bangkok a lot.
It was a cool, quiet place and loved going there. All the best to Jun. And I'm sorry to hear Zeppelin is no more.
