The stroller we have is invaluable...Gets used almost every day for over a year now...Folds up to fit in a tuk tuk and saves a lot of carrying...
Gets the baby used to traffic and lets him relax and see a lot of our world.

Cot is really not necessary if your wife intends to breastfeed baby. My wife sleeps with our 2nd baby on our king bed while I sleep on another smaller bed...
Breastfeeding really save you lots of money on the formula but hygiene wise must take note, like daily cleaning baby's mouth and the nipple as well.

Stroller wise is dependent on how big your child is. We use quite frequent when my first child was 9mths older to 18mths...

Usually buy diapers in bulks and go for those newly brands but check quality... Is simple maths so divide price with quantity... I usually go for those 18cents_21cents per diaper sometimes baby shops have ridiculously discount on new brand diapers and each diaper probably costs only 10cents... But alot of locals don't wear diapers for their boys...

I have been to sakura those second hand stuff shops and they do have some decent and reasonable priced items you are looking for...

You should join those Facebook parents in Cambodia and ask for unwanted stuff as most of them are willing to give... For us, we give to our helpers or workers...

Ifyou really need a cot, could get one that's from Vietnam which comes with a motor to help swing the cot... Costs less than 100... Congratulations!
