Meanwhile over in Burma's election
Nothing new here
Even thou the world has lost its faith in Aung San for her treatment of the Rohingya, she is still loved by the Burmese majority.
FYI; The Rohingya, (as are other minorities such as the Karen and Shan) are not allowed to vote in this election

https://www.frontiermyanmar.net/en/election-live/The NLD is confident of an even bigger win in yesterday's election than its 2015 landslide, party sources say. Spokesman U Myo Nyunt says the NLD has already secured the 322 seats needed to gain an absolute majority and choose the next president.
The National League for Democracy says it has already secured two-thirds of elected seats in the national legislature, which means it will be able to choose the next president and form government.

Re: Meanwhile over in Burma's election
she got it
Yet the military pulled a trumpism; The latest batch of results from Sunday’s vote confirmed Suu Kyi’s National League for Democracy (NLD) had secured the 322 seats in the bicameral legislature needed to form a government.
The NLD has taken 368 seats of the 434 seats that have been declared, with results from 42 more yet to be announced.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-myan ... SKBN27T0CLThe main opposition party, the military-backed Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP), had won 24 seats, according to the partial official results.
The USDP raised objections on Wednesday and demanded a new vote as soon as possible “in order to have an election that is free, fair, unbiased and free from unfair campaigning”.
