Argentinian Busted Stealing Chivas and Bread from Aeon Mall

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On November 3, 2020, at 7 pm, a 41-year-old Argentinian man, DAMIEL CASTAU, who has no job and stays in a guesthouse, was arrested for stealing whisky and bread at AEON 2 mall, in Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmie, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.

The victim was identified as Som Phos, a 37-year-old man, a seller at AEON 2 mall. The evidence that was damaged was a bottle of Chivas 18 years, and the evidence that confiscated were two bottles of Chivas 18 years and 2 loaves of bread that were stolen by the Argentinian.

The suspect was detained at Khan Sen Sok police station to follow the legal action.

That is Daniel, last I heard he got popped for a similar offense a month or so ago. He has been laying real low after getting a solid beat down at the beg. o f Covid 19 near the dark block of St 51 around cross street 184 and beyond heading towards Wat Langka. Local belief was that he got beaten hard enough that he may have suffered brain damage. I know him to be a good enough guy, albeit he appears to be close to James Whitlow the master thief to actually empathize too much. He did play soccer professionally for a long time and was involved in the marketing of time share resorts for a time back in the day and all according to him, I tend to believe him and I wish him well. There are worse things he could be involved in.
