Where to drink.

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

The latest entry into the nightlife bar scene of Phnom Penh is The Factory on street 104.

Cyrcee Secret Bar
Forget about the clubs, KTV's and other bars. When poker players are in Phnom Penh there is one place that everyone inevitably asks about and that is Cyrcee Secret Bar. Everyone comes to Cambodia wanting to have a story to tell when they go back home and there is no better place to provide that than this establishment. Think of it as a Riverside hostess bar, but on steroids.

The Factory
The hostesses themselves are young, friendly and attentive to all customers. There is no dress code for the staff but yet each lady present themselves in a manner that matches the classy environment of the bar. They mix it up well with different promotional events and the bar is known to show popular sporting events on their many television sets and stay open to accommodate customers who are sports fans. Although the establishment is new, drinks are reasonably priced and the bar is stocked with a full selection of liquors, beer and wine.

Secrets Cambodia
Secrets Bar has been long established in Thailand and now they have brought their brand of nightlife fun to Phnom Penh. Upon entering you are immediately greeted by attractive hostesses who escort you down a literal red carpet into the club. The club itself is large and spacious and yet still provides a friendly and cozy atmosphere. There is a bar area, seating at tables and also sofa booths for larger groups. The staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about all services offered by Secrets. There is no shortage of attractive girls of course as Secrets boasts perhaps the largest lineups of hostesses in the city. Most girls speak English, are very friendly and provide excellent companionship for a fun evening.

The Drink BarA relatively new entry into the hostess bar market, Drink Bar is located on the second block of street 136. It gets a lot of foot traffic considering where it is, but the establishment boasts a large lineup of hostesses for all their patrons. The outside seating area is huge, but customers hardly sit there as that is usually where all the girls are on display. Once inside the bar is separated into two sections; a regular bar area with stools and a few tables and then a lounge section with several booths. In between the two areas is a dancing stage. There is no scheduled show but the girls will get up there and dance whenever the spirit moves them. The sound system is plenty loud but not overbearing.

"The drink bar" seems like a funny name for a bar, but i guess it isn't any stranger than "I very love you caramel bar"

I think it is the old 'Mad Dog' bar nextdoor to Mr Butterfly. If so, it's a pretty sorry looking affair.

And at least 2 sets of 'bolt-ons'. Why aren't they smiling? They don't look happy at all... :please:

I've often found Asian women attempts at sultry can be confused with a look of an approaching regurgitate event. That could just be me however.

Speaking of which...reminds of an English guy at Lamai, Koh Samui in the early 2000's. Had 'Mad Dog' tattooed on his back and few front teeth missing. Used to get very drunk and eventually would start singing:

Who let the dogs out...hoo..hoo..hoo..

Who let the dogs out...hoo..hoo..hoo.. repeatedly and with an occasional 'woof'

Quite a character. Carry on..

Sadly it seem like nowadays more and more Khmer chicks are getting these big, burn scar looking tattoos on their thighs and on their chests.
