Cambodia News (Koh Kong): On October 25, 2020, Koh Kong police cracked down on drug trafficking in Sangkat Sman Meanchey, Koh Kong. Three raids were ordered by lieutenant Kong Monea, Koh Kong police chief, and coordinated by Mr. Um Sovantheany, the prosecutor of Koh Kong court.

The police first arrested 3 suspects, Chorn Seymom, a 33-year-old woman, a KTV worker, Dong Lyheng, a 20-year-old man, and Poung Pen, a 20-year-old man. The police confiscated 2 packets of the drug (1 big and 1 small), a phone, and a motorbike.
After questioning the suspects, the police raided another house and arrested a 39-year-old man, Ly Rady, in Sangkat Steung Veng with 7 packs of drugs and a gun with 24 bullets, a phone, and drug equipment.
Then, with further information, the police arrested the other 3 suspects, Noun Oumerth, a 35-year-old man, Yai Ny, a 25-year-old man, and Kor Sim, a 39-year-old man, and they confiscated a packet of the drug, a motorbike, 3 phones, and drug equipment.

The police prepared the case of 7 suspects with the evidence following the legal procedure.
