The police reported that the suspects were identified as GUO BAO QIANG, 36 years old, Ban Fang hotel owner, and ZHEN LU BIAO, 35 years old. The police confiscated a 1-meter iron bar. The victim, WANG XU ZHE, a 26-year-old Chinese man, was seriously injured and sent to the hospital.

On October 16, 2020, at 9 pm, the victim rented the hotel room and owed the hotel owner US$100, and he left the hotel. On October 20, 2020, at 9 pm, the victim returned to the hotel, so two Chinese men asked him for the money he hadn't paid for the hotel. Then, the three men started to argue, and suspects attacked the victim with a metal bar, causing him to get seriously injured.
