Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): This morning, at 7:00am on October 21, 2020, a 21-year-old house maid was found dead in her bedroom at a house on Street 19, Group 41, Village 4, Sangkat Wat Phnom, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.

The deceased was identified as Pen Chanra, alias Asros, a 21-year-old female domestic worker from Oddar Meanchey province.

According to Chit Roomchangden, female employer, the victim came to work at his house in 2018, with a salary of $ 170 per month. The victim had a history of heart problems, and in September 2020, the victim cut her leg bleeding. The victim fainted, then was taken to Preah Keto Mealea Hospital where she recovered and returned home.

The employer said that this morning, when there was no reply inside the maid's room, he went into the room and he realized that the victim was not sleeping, so he called an ambulance. When it arrived, the doctors checked and told him that the victim was dead.
After examining the results of technical expertise and Mr. Onhna Dr. Nong Sovannaroth confirmed that the victim died of a heart attack (may be caused by heart disease). RIP.
