Woman Thief Steals Necklace from Baby

Cambodia News, Kandal: On Saturday, October 1, 2020, at 8:30am, there was a case of theft (cutting a necklace from a child) at Takhmao Old Market in Takhmao Village, Sangkat Takhmao, Takhmao City, Kandal Province.

The victim was a boy aged about 1 year old, his father was named Mol Vichet, male, 33 years old, Khmer, Occupation: Company employee, Residence: Prek Hoor Keut 1 Village, Sangkat Prek Hoor, Takhmao City, Kandal Province.
Suspect's name: Sok Srey Neang, female, 37 years old, Khmer, Uncertain occupation, Residence: Sambok Chap village, Sangkat Kakab, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh (arrested).

Captured evidence:
1 necklace made of copper, 35 cm long.
2 - 1 gray OV backpack.
3- 30,000 Riels.

The suspect, Sok Srey Neang, a 37 year old Phnom Penh resident, went to the old Takhmao market, and stole the necklace from the baby boy. However, the mother of the child saw what happened, and she arrested the thief and handed her over to the police for legal action.
