Where have all the statesmen gone? It seems anyone with real gravitas, experience and unimpeachable track records wouldn't be seen dead anywhere near politics. The best and the brightest in the UK wouldn't accept the letters M.P. after their name if you paid them 10 times the going rate.

I agree 100%. I look at who is running the US and the UK, Trump, Biden, Johnson, whoever, and I think, really? Is that the best we can come up with? I vote Jacinda Ardern for world leader. And even though a kiwi, I am not biased.
