Man Running From Police Dies of Heart Attack
Cambodia News (Banteay Meanchey): A man named Nov Dara died of a heart attack after being chased by the police during a crackdown on gambling, at noon, on October 5, 2020, at Pkeang village, O'chrao district, Banteay Meanchey.
The local and O'chrao district police forces organized a raid on gambling in Pkeang village, and all the gamblers ran away, trying to escape. Suddenly, the gambling leader had a heart attack and passed out in the rice field.
The police sent him to the hospital, but at 4 pm, the doctor said that the man was dead. The police and medical team examined the body and determined that the victim had heart disease, and when he was running to escape, he had a fatal heart attack.
The police said all the gamblers have been detained for education.

I believe the odds are about —about 0.54 per 100,000 participants in half marathons,

But the people running in half marathons are generally healthy, exercise and are not suffering from heart disease. As stated in the report:
"The police and medical team examined the body and determined that the victim had heart disease, and when he was running to escape, he had a fatal heart attack."
Exertion, while suffering from heart disease , means the probably of heart failure will be high. Plenty of info on this if you want stats.
