From my experience with aussie cards, it sounds like it depends on the provider of the card as to whether they will send it overseas.
I got a Latitude (previously 28 degrees) credit card sent to me in PP via DHL recently no probs. I have a uBank debit card and they told me they only post to aussie address. The Commonwealth bank have advised me they can send overseas for a fee but I yet have to check whether they can do via DHL (albeit I've heard EMS is working again here via the post office but it is much slower).

What if you don’t lose your cards around your birthday?phuketrichard wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:44 pm i always have my cards sent to my sister, (my us address) and than she sends them on to me in a birthday card

Pretty sure DHL, and probably the other courier companies, will only ship cards directly from the issuer. They won’t accept them in shipments from individuals. The scam was that the card that was given to the courier was actually a copy. Between it being picked up and delivered, stuff was paid for on the genuine card, then it was claimed that the card had been fraudulently used while in the possession of the courier company.
The activation and other protocols now mean this is a lot less likely or possible but once bitten, twice shy

If u pickup a DHL envelope and place the card inside a birthday card inside the dhl enevelope, how do they know what in the envelope??
2nd
How?
The card can only be activated by the card holder, which has always been in place as far back as i can remember.

Call your bank, block card & request a new card to an address in UK with family... go to post office here in PP. Open a PO box for like $3 a month, write down address. When the card arrives, get family member to send it to the address you've given them... perhaps put the card in an old xmas card or something inside the envelope so it's not so obvious as to what it is. Relative/friend goes to nearest post office & sends (cant remember fee), Wait 10-14 days and voila it will be in the PO box. I have done this around 4 times.HappyChappy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:15 pm This is the last thing I need!!
What little money I had is now gone. I've just had 100 pounds spent on amazon market place that wasn't me. If I get the card blocked and order a new one to the UK, how can I get it delivered to Phnom Penh. Is that possible???
If i don't have a card I lose access to my cash and I'm totally f****d. I asked santander to put a stop on transactions to amazon..... Clearly that hasn't happened.
Help!!!

Ah sounds like a plan. Will I need a family member to activate it or can I activate in PP?? Santander doesn't seem to have a presence out here.LIVIDZX wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 9:21 pmCall your bank, block card & request a new card to an address in UK with family... go to post office here in PP. AFAIK; ( all my cards) all credit cards can be activated by logging on to the bank site, or via calling a tel# on the sticker that is sent on the new card usually there is a security system in place if calling..
