Cambodia News, Kampong Cham Province: A young man died after he was attacked by a gangster who threw stones through the windscreen of his truck and hit him in the chest.

This incident happened at 18:35 pm on September 29, 2020 at the point of National Road No. 71 in Bang 1 village, Bos Khnour commune, Chamkar Leu district, Kampong Cham province.

Sources from Chamkar Leu District Police said that the victim, Pum Sophorn, male, 28 years old, Khmer, resident of Sala Visay Village, Kampong Thom Province, was stoned by an unidentified suspect while driving his truck from Kratie province. He was hit in the chest and severely injured, and the truck left the road and crashed.


Sources said that after receiving this information, the police immediately went to the scene and sent the victim to the Chamkar Leu District Referral Hospital, but the victim died on arrival at the hospital. The body was handed over to the family for a traditional ceremony on the orders of Mr. San Sopheak, Deputy Prosecutor of Kampong Cham Provincial Court.

In this case, the authorities are searching for the stone thrower, and they have compiled the case file according to the procedure.

How random and stupid can people be. I hope they catch the fucker.

Cambodia News, Kampong Cham: Two men have been arrested for throwing stones and killing the driver of a truck in Kampong Cham.

After the incident, the provincial governor and the provincial police commissioner assigned the provincial criminal force to investigate the case, and finally the authorities caught the two perpetrators, who admitted that they often throw stones at random vehicles on that road, but that there was no special motive in this case.

The two accused are named Chhoeun Phearum, male, 15 years old, Khmer worker in Village 34, Ta Ong Commune, Chamkar Leu District, and Ry Thea, male, 20 years old, Khmer worker in Bang 2 village, Bos Khnour commune, Chamkar Leu district, Kampong Cham province.
Both of them tested positive for drug use (methamphetamine), and the police took them to the Chamkar Leu District Police Inspectorate for further questioning.

Dumb fuckers doing it for entertainment, they’ll certainly be entertained now. This rock throwing shit was a thing in Australia a while back also, dropping rocks of highway overpasses.
