Police Raid HONEY HONEY BAR for Underage Sex Workers

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On September 28, 2020, at 8:40 pm, the Department of human trafficking and minor protection of the Ministry of Interior arrested eight women for sex work at Honey Honey bar at Sorya Mall, street 51/172, Sangkat Psar Thmie 3, Khan Don Penh, Phnom Penh. The bar has been shut down temporarily.

Before the raid, the police made an investigation after they heard that the bar girls were providing sex services to customers. One of the victims said the bar opened at 6 pm to 6 am; some customers came for drinking, and some looked for sex service.

The police detained eight women, including 3 minors, with evidence such as condoms that were used and unused. They were sent them to the human trafficking and minor protection department for questioning following the legal procedure.

At least one of the blokes is into the money importation game of having girls open a bank account then the blokes people in their country transfers 30 to 50K. The Khmer girl withdraws it and gets 1%.

Money is not in their name or account . They hold the cards etc and only touch the money in a safe place after the girl withdraws it. They are always around the girl when she has the money you just will not see them walking beside her but not letting the money out of their sight. On $30k they only lose $300. Fair exchange for money laundering.

How does the money become laundred because a khmer girl withdrew it for you?
