Re: Tax patent to be required for EB visa extension?

Looks like the price of dodgy papers is going up.
How much does it cost to set up a company and get all the registrations to enable you to do your own? (and a few for 'friends')

i understand the sentiment that this only affects illegals, who deserve it
but is it even possible for some people to get legal?
for example, freelancers, and remote-employed workers

$130 USD to register a sole proprietorship/small taxpayer with the new online system.
No idea what ongoing costs are required once registered.

Are you permitted to write your own letter, or will that send them into a tailspin of confusion?epidemiks wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 2:07 pm$130 USD to register a sole proprietorship/small taxpayer with the new online system.

Yes, Business owners are required to provide a letter of employment, which obviously they have to.write themselves, silly requirement since the Business license and Tax patent should be more than enough proof of eligibility.

Re: Tax patent to be required for EB visa extension?
in the case of freelancers that makes sense, though i'm not sure foreign clients would be keen, or even able, to remit to cambodia
what about people employed remotely (it's 2020, year of covid and remote everything, after all)?
trust fund?
wealthy ex-stocktrader loafers?
i'm sure there are many other cases
