This has been a terrible week for Cambodian domestic violence against women. Here is the third reported case of a husband killing his wife and then committing, or attempting to commit, suicide.

Cambodia News,Takeo Province: A military officer killed his wife by attacking her with an ax four times; the woman died of her injuries and the husband committed suicide by hanging.
This unfortunate incident happened at 12 o'clock on September 4, 2020 in Trapeang Rumpak village, Tram Kak commune, Tram Kak district, Takeo province.

The police confirmed that the husband, Seb Bonara, 49 years old, resided in the commune where the incident took place, his military occupation was in the 31st Brigade. In particular, the cause of the murder was because the husband was jealous of his wife.
After the incident, the technical staff of the provinces, districts and relevant authorities inspected the murder-suicide scene and they concluded that the man had hanged himself, and the body was handed over to the family for a traditional ceremony.

Maybe in the next life he'll learn his mother is the the first and only woman he'll ever meet who will love him unconditionally.
