Man Stabs Wife to Death Then Attempts Suicide

Cambodia News (Kandal): On September 3, 2020, at 8:25 pm, a 29-year-old man, Chan Thorn, tried to commit suicide by slicing his throat after he stabbed his ex-wife to death in Prey Roka village, Angsnoul district, Kandal. The victim was identified as Sok Phally, 27 years old, a factory worker.

The victim and the suspect were married, but had been separated from each other for a while. The couple had two children, one boy, and one girl. The man wanted to get back together with his ex-wife, but she didn't want to, which made the man jealous and angry.

On the night of September 3, the suspect followed the victim and stabbed her to death. Then, he tried to kill himself by slicing his throat. The suspect is still alive and is receiving treatment at the hospital.

The police are preparing the case following the legal procedure.

That's the second one this week.

This case is even worse, (if that's possible), because there are now two orphans.
