Man Cuts Off Mother's Head

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On August 29, 2020, at 6 am, a woman was reportedly murdered by her son in a house near Mol Meth hospital, Sangkat Chom Chao 2, Khan Porsechey, Phnom Penh. The suspect cut his mother's head, causing her to died immediately.

The local people reported the incident to the police for examination. The police are searching for the suspect who ran away to escape.

UPDATE
According to a Khmer news update, the suspect has been named as Aam Samnang, 32, an employee at Honda Chom Chao, and his mother was named as Hak Soktha, aged 65. The killer has tested positive for drugs, but the prime motive for the murder is unknown.

I have heard from Cambodian people, in another place there was also a man on drugs who slit his father's throat and killed him. It should become official news. So wait for details when they become available.

Drugs are really bad, and severely mess up people's brains.

Cambodia News,(Phnom Penh): The man who took drugs on his birthday and cut his mother's head off her shoulders was captured by police near IU Hospital, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.

The suspect is named Eam Samnang, male, 33 years old, born in Koh Pen B village, Koh Mith commune, Kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province.
Neighbors say that the man is a drug addict, and he and his mother used to quarrel all the time; the unfortunate mother was planning to move out and live somewhere else to get away from her son.

He reportedly has severe MENTAL ILLNESS!!!

The mother came all the way from her province to take care of her son and did not try to leave him but apparently wanted to bring her son back to home to the province to find help.

The night it happens the man went out "drinking" with his friends and had mental breakdown... running around naked while the neighbor and his mother tries to catch him.

It's not always about the drug. Mental Illness is always overlooked. This guy clearly needs help. In this country... you can't afford mental illness. I made decent money and barely afford therapy. 20$-50$/session. My therapist felt so bad, she does it for free.

Don't start to defend his actions or have compassion for the family on here your insane, he was just a spoiled brat it's his parents fault, using the same logic from posters on another thread.
God wasn't looking in her direction , to busy helping a footballer score a goal at the time.

How do you defend cutting off someones head??
Stab, shoot, beat someone, an act of rage where people lash out, to an extent i get it, but cutting someones head off takes time and is not easy to do. Its gruesome and messy.
The man is an animal,mentally ill or not and deserves being wiped off the face of the earth.
As for compassion, his poor mother has mine.rip.
