Very Big Python Released into the Forest in Mondulkiri
Cambodia News (Mondulkiri): On August 25, 2020, Mr. Roth Vireak, the secretary of the Ministry of the Environment, joined some rangers and police to celebrate the release of a large Python snake into the forest in Mondulkiri.
The snake was received from the Pichrada police station on August 18, 2020.

It's snake season.
Cambodia News, Sihanoukville: On the afternoon of 27.08.2020, Stung Hav police went to reception a big snake that was captured in a private house at Otres on 26 August.
The police will give the snake to the forest rangers to release into the wild.

45 Pythons Released into the Wild
Cambodia News, Kampong Chhnang: 45 pythons, that were rescued by the Joint Parks Conservation Force and the Environmental intervention team, have been released into a natural lake area in Kampong Chhnang in order to preserve the reproduction of the species in the wild.
A joint team of park rangers and community fisheries environmental officials released the pythons on August 27 2020, at the Tonle Sap Lake Biodiversity Protection and Conservation Area in Slot Village, Plou Touk Commune, Kampong Leng District in Kampong Chhnang Province.
