Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On August 21, 2020, at 11:45 pm, a drunk man drove his car into the river at Koh Pich river bank, Sangkat Tonle Basac, Khan Chamkarmorn, Phnom Penh.
The unidentified drunk man was driving a Lexus RX350, car plate no. PP2AF-9666, at high speed when he drove off the riverbank and into the river.

The driver was unharmed, so police went to the scene to check the accident and confiscated the vehicle to sort the problem out following the legal procedure once the driver wakes up.

Lexus can’t be seen to promote drink driving, but there’s a whole market ready and waiting. They could make a killing...

*not something the accountants are likely to worry too much about

Another man takes his car for a swim, at a Sihanoukville beach today:

Cambodia News, Sihanoukville: Police told that there is a Khmer man who drove his car in the purpose of entertainment on the beach and then was stuck at mao beach after he drove into the sea at 12 pm.

Back in the olden days, cars like that used to have a winch at the front. Wouldn't be too difficult to winch it out.
Better still would be to grow a brain and realize that driving on the beach is a dumb idea.

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On September 21, 2020, at 9 pm, a truck fell into a river in Sangakt Prek Kompeus, Khan Dongkor, Phnom Penh.
Presumably the driver swam away to escape the accident scene.
