Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): On August 13, 2020, at 10 pm, a woman was abducted and forced into a car in front of Coco clothes shop, in Sangkat 2, Sihanoukville.

Three suspects were reported at the kidnap scene: One of the suspects wore a white shirt and black pants, another suspect wore a black shirt and black pants, and the other suspect was the driver of the car. The suspects kidnapped the woman and put her in a Highlander car, which they drove down the national road no.4.

After receiving the information about the kidnapping, General Lieutenant Chuon Naren, Sihanoukville police chief, ordered Lieutenant Ly Sokhy to lead his forces to investigate the case and find the victim.

The next morning, on August 14, at 6 am, the police released the victim in the Prek Tben area, in Steung Hav district. The kidnappers ran away to escape, but they are being sought by Sihanoukville police.

Cambodia News, Sihanoukville: According to the Ministry of Interior's social media page, on August 13, 2020 at 23:10, some passapp tuktuk drivers called to report the kidnapping of a Chinese woman in Village 2, Sangkat 2, Sihanoukville.
They told police that a group of four Chinese men drove a silver Highlander to a stop near the car of a Chinese woman, the owner of COCO shop, and three Chinese men got out of the Highlander, gagged the woman and forced her into their car before driving off at high speed.

The police forces eventually tracked down the victim and liberated her, while her kidnappers escaped. After the rescue, professional forces conducted a thorough search until 15.08.2020 at 15:30, when police arrested a suspect at the Royal Lihor Casino located in Group 13, Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville Province and confiscated a silver Highlander car with license plate number: Phnom Penh 2K-7388, which was used by the suspects to kidnap the victim.
After interrogating the suspect, our police forces continued to arrest two more suspects on 15.08.2020 at 21:30 at the corner of LV Road in Village 4, Sangkat 4, Krong- Sihanoukville Province.

* - Victim's name: WU JIAJIA, female, 42 years old, Chinese, Occupation: Clothes seller, Residence: Village 2, Sangkat 2, Preah Sihanouk Province: Slight skin injuries

1. Name: WANG XIAO ZHANG, Male, 38 years old, Nationality Chinese, Occupation: Solar light shop employee, Passport number: EH7****** (Not taken with him) Staying at Royal Lihor Casino Hotel, Village 4, Sangkat 4 Sihanoukville.
2-Name: RAN FU CHUAN, Male, 23 years old, Nationality Chinese, Occupation: Restaurant Manager, HUAN LE, No Passport Number, Residence: Village 3, Sangkat 3, Preah Sihanouk Province.
3-Name: JIANG HONG, Male, 26 years old, Nationality: Chinese, Occupation: staff at HUAN LE restaurant, No passport number, Residence: Village 3, Sangkat 3, Preah Sihanouk Province.

* - Captured exhibits:
- A Highlander car, silver color, license plate: Phnom Penh 2K-7388 (means of kidnapping) and some equipment in the car.
- One white TUNDRA car with license plate: Phnom Penh 2AY-0176.
- one taser
- 7 mobile phones
The specialized force of the Office of Criminal Police has built a case to send the suspects and exhibits to the Sihanoukville Provincial Court for legal action.
