Takeo Woman Steals Necklace from 2Yo Boy
Cambodia News (Takeo): On August 9, 2020, at 9:30 am, a 32-year-old woman, Yon Phoung, was arrested for stealing a necklace from a two-year-old boy, at Somrong Yong market, Smao Kchey district, Bati district, Takeo. The victim was identified as Chorn Jesdararoth, two years old.
The victim's mother, Em Socheang, 29 years old, took her young son to the market where the suspect stole the platinum necklace from the kid's neck. But the victim's mother saw the suspect, so she screamed for help, and the local people helped to catch the suspect and sent her to the police station.

2 year old children (especially boys) shouldn't be wearing necklaces, period. The Khmer infatuation with newborns and infants wearing jewelry and having ears pierced is beyond ignorant.

I think I'm on your side, not liking the mega wealthy pricks who seem to fuck things up so much.
But I also can't accept alibis for theft. It's wrong, and should never be pardoned, imo.
Nothing like have firmly held convictions.
