In 40 years being involved in petroleum sites, I have only once witnessed a fire, that was in Tottnam London, when a young lady drove her car in to the filling station. Not that bad of an idea, due to that is where you would find a fire extinguisher, my son and myself put out the fire and got the car into a safe area, before the two fire engines came and covered the car (unfortunatly) for the owner in more powder.
The pumps here seem to be that of reliability, tried and tested - The Quantium™ 420 fuel dispenser is Tokheim’s ‘H’ style, multiproduct dispenser designed specifically for the requirements of the Chinese and South Asian markets.
Problem is here is the lack of regulation and care.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
