Thai lottery for the draft was held last month, even for lady boys

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. so everyone that was required to attend did so, (over the age of 21) even lady boys,( as on their d cards they are men)
.....By law all Thai men who do not volunteer for military service must attend the conscription lottery at least once after they turn 21.

I saw that thread on Thaivisa. Several expats said ladyboys are exempt from service but do have to show up with their medical certificates to prove their transition from man to lady.

if you watched the video, they are ONLY exempt if the show up dressed as a lady, BUT then they get a special classification which can negatively affect future employment.

Don't fret. I am quite sure they make more money than the average working class male in Thailand.
