Thai lottery for the draft was held last month, even for lady boys

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

I think Myanmar is so much worse in so many ways, even its military is more criminal than Thailand's although that really is an accomplishment.

goverment is indeed worse but
I would place Burma, Laos and Cambodia together at the bottom for locals, daily live and expectations for quality life

There are beggars all over Sukhumvit and EDSA [Mod edit: no need to name call].

Surely this can't be true? I've seen beggars in Bangkok. Are there no beggars in Vietnam or Timor Leste? There are actually very few beggars in Phnom Penh outside of the central tourist area, and there are far less of them than there used to be.

When i thought about it the only places I've seen child beggars is Cambodia & India.
