Cambodia News, Kandal: On August 1, 2020, an illegal pawn shop was closed down by Kandal provincial authorities and the owner of the pawn shop was arrested when officers found 24 abnormal motorbikes in Svay Meas village, Vihear Sour commune, Khsach Kandal district.

The owner of this pawn shop is Kim Leng Sol, male, motorcycle pawn shop, and his wife, Vathary, 33 years old, business, living in Svay Meas village, Vihear Sour commune, Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province.

Kim Leng Sol is a big apple in Vihear Sour commune and has been buying and selling stolen motorcycles for a long time without any crackdown by the commune authorities.

Officers confirmed that most of the motorcycles that were found in the pawn shop were motorcycles that were stolen by thieves because the motorcycle keys were broken and there were many abnormalities. Police arrested the owner of the illegal pawn shop, Kim Leng Sol, and seized 24 motorcycles: 19 Honda, 2 Viva, 1 Scoop, 1 Square and 1 Honda Wave.

Both owners of the shop and all 24 motorcycles were sent to the Kandal Provincial Police for processing.
