48Yo Italian Drops Dead Unexpectedly on Street 172, Phnom Penh

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Andy S Tawatin wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2020 4:46 pm Well, according to elsewhere on the web (can't say where), he wasn't German, and wasn't 30. So Germans can make up to kaffee und sauerkraut safely this morgan.
I'm sure his family will be saddened whether they live in Germany or Italy, and 48 is still young to die. And of course, no real answers as to the cause of death.
Condolences to the guy's family and friends.

Did the competent authority do a blood test to see if anything may have been slipped into his drink?
Funny also how it doesn't identify the woman to be a Khmer, which is presumably the case, be as if it were another barang, I'm sure she'd have been identified

"Unidentified" in this case probably means that his identity has not been released because the family in Germany is still being notified.

To posters here: when you are commenting, try to have some empathy for the family who might be reading your words. They may be waking up this morning in Germany to some very bad news.

There is a darknet section for CEO members who might want to speculate, raise embarrassing questions, or discuss side issues such as barang deaths in the KOW. Thanks.

guys think about how your loved ones will feel when they read about some bs/crazy baseless rumors on ceo when you pass
I know, imagine being called a 30 year old German when you are a 48 year old Italian. that's gotta hurt.
