Woman Dies of Shock After Pig Truck Smashes her House at Midnight

Cambodia News (Kandal): On July 29, 2020, at 12:45 am, a 54 year old woman, Chea Eak, died of a heart attack after a truck smashed into her house on street 116A, Sre Ambel village, Kean Svay district, Kandal.

Before the incident, a truck that was delivering pigs was driving along the road from east to west when suddenly the vehicle drove directly into a house. The unidentified driver was in the truck with three other men, named Cheng Chayly, 29 years old, Khun Bora, 31 years old, and Siem Sareth, 25 years old. The driver immediately ran away from the accident scene leaving the others in the truck.
When the truck smashed into the house, the homeowner, a woman who was sleeping inside the house, had a heart attack and died from sheer fright.

After the incident, the police went to check the accident scene and the body. After examination, the deceased was handed over to the family for funeral rites.
