Cambodia News, Kampong Thom: A preliminary report says that a man who used a fake uniform as a National Police officer on July 24, 2020 was arrested by police at Prey Banlech Village, Sangkat Achar Lak, Steung Sen City, Kampong Thom Province.

The above man named Heng Ken Nady, 42 years old, unspecified occupation, has an address at 21E, Street 47, Sangkat Srah Chak, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
At the time of the arrest, the police confiscated the exhibits, including:

1- Police uniform No. 4, one with the rank of lieutenant colonel, attached to the existing shirt.
2- Fake US dollar bills.
3- Two mobile phones and some personal items.

According to the police, the man posed as a national police officer working in the anti-drug department wearing a uniform of a National Police , Lieutenant General (3 stars).

Authorities said that the suspect was a person who had just been released from Prey Sar prison. The suspect is being interrogated by the Stung Sen City Police Inspectorate, and will be taken to the Provincial Police Commission to build a case according to the law.

Guess he missed prison so much he wanted to go back.

A skinny underweight policeman with no pot belly would raise suspicions as being a fake anywhere in Cambodia.
