In the north of Cambodia by scooter. :)

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

The miner told me it was a sapphire. and he makes purple sapphire cones for beauty and for sale.
I think Amathist and the stone/rock Antigorite, but both could be the latter.

Very nice photographs Sinus, must say I like the pink flowers. They are that of the pink rain lily (Zephyranthes rosea).

How many of that type of bridge did you cross over on your trip? They are a little precarious at the best of times. Now you have hit the dirt roads and that of a more vast countryside it's bringing good times back too me in a way, first time I traveled up in the northern areas was by scooter (Honda Click) a little like your trip, the following was on that of an old dailium I bought in Battambang.
