Two Chinese Men Killed in Fatal Car Crash in Phnom Penh

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): Last night, July 19 2020, at 11:10 pm, two Chinese men died and two other people were injured in a car crash on national road 4, in Khan Kombol, Phnom Penh.

Yesterday evening, the 3 Chinese men and a Cambodian woman, in car plate no. PP2AR-3975, were driving along national road 4 in the direction from west to east, when their vehicle smashed into a container truck, killing two of the Chinese men instantly and seriously injuring the other two passengers in the car. It is not clear who was at fault, but the truck driver ran away from the scene.

After the incident, the police checked the accident scene and took both vehicles to keep at the police station. The bodies have been taken to keep in Stueng Meanchey pagoda, waiting for the families of the victims to be informed and decide for the funeral rites. The injured have been taken to hospital.
