Tale of the French communists...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

God, OD is desperately trying to pick a fight.
In your case it’s sometimes fair to ask, whether you are not pushing ahead too far with your ignorance, intolerance, incompetence and narrow-mindedness and with your rather over-optimistic, black and white vision of countries. I’ve always wondered about people like you –there are plenty of them in Cambodia- extremists, individuals blinded by the light, unwilling/unable to look left or right and deliberately fooling the public with their numb and dull insights and always trying to force people to see the world as they do and never being ashamed to resort to terror if they are unsuccessful – just as you did in your little outpouring above.

Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht

In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist

Calling you out for being an insulting racist isn't "picking a fight."

I don’t always get called a racist, but when I do I have just won an argument with a typical, narrow-minded American.

My point was that Pol Pot - specifically - became a nasty bastard. Your further extrapolation from there is exactly that.

Seriously, I'd say the fight started with this:

There is no fight Mekong Mouse, there is NO fight...just a discrepancy in opinions. Btw...I like that picture you have posted above.....hopefully it's getting online soon.

P.S.: That cat absolutely makes sense.....compared to some members of this board cats always do !!!!!
