Re: O dear, Protests in Bangkok
shit is getting real in Bangkok. What stands out to me is the difference between Thailand and Burma
In Burma its going on all over the country
in Thailand its ONLY in Bangkok
Rubber bullets, tear gas fired as rally turns violent
I was demonstrating in 66-68 in dc against an unjust war, so it is good for me to see the youth are still at it...

https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/politics/2075915A rally by pro-democracy protesters outside the 1st Infantry Regiment in Bangkok turned violent on Sunday as police fired rubber bullets, water cannon and tear gas at demonstrators trying to approach the barracks.
Demonstrators held up shell casings to show that rubber bullets had been fired at them.
There were no initial reports of injuries,

What a load of rubbish Richard, you're such a drama queen. Burmese put their life on the line, Thais put three fingers in the air for a selfie and go for a coffee.
Yes sir, I can boogie, I can boogie, boogie, boogie all night long.

Oh man! Look at those cavemen go.
It's the freakiest show.
Will they ever know that they're in the best-selling show?

Actually, no. That's why I left that part out.Username Taken wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 2:56 pmAre you implying that they're beating up the wrong guy?
Looks like cavemen on both sides in this case. March on a military base in a "mostly peaceful" manner and you get what's coming to you.

How so?phuketrichard wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 4:01 pmNo, Cambodia will never be an alternative to Thailand, merely an add onKunKhmerSR wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 2:11 pm Obviously it's hard to make predictions right now but if these protests continue through out the year and tourism restarts around the end of the year, do you guys recon this could have a positive boost in Cambodia? People skipping Thailand and coming here straight away?

Re: O dear, Protests in Bangkok
although things are not as bad as last year and less protestors it seems, things are still going off
Police crackdown on anti-government protesters near Sanam Luang
After using water cannon and charging down protesters demanding reforms to Thailand’s monarchy near the Grand Palace, police are now trying to advance in multiple lines to clear everyone from the streets.
The unknown factor is what is the K doing? he was slatted to return to Germany last dec but seems he is still here and I am sure he is not a happy camper.
But at least he not sleeping alone
I wonder how the wife feels about his concubine travelling with them?
