Farmer Beats Brother to Death for being a Lazy Drunk

Cambodia News (Kampong Thom): On July 13, at 07:15 am, a 55-year-old man, Keng Heng, used a wooden stick to attack his brother to death, at their cashew farm, in Tamenh village, Santok district, Kampong Thom. The victim was identified as Keng Veng, 58 years old.

It seems that the suspect was angry with the victim, blaming him for drinking and not working. He was so angry that he grabbed a stick and beat his brother to death. After that, he left the body there and ran away to escape.
The police went to the scene of the crime to investigate.

The mark of Cain .I was taught that after Cain killed Able he was marked.That " mark " was being turned black . Were other members also indoctrinated thus ?

Older brother is supposed to be the leader of the family. It must have been a big loss of the face on daily basis watching his older brother drink and do nothing.

Probably just exploded one day.

Just like the Khmer who get abused by foreigners day in and day out.. and then one day explode.

I understand it. I’ve had the same inclinations myself at times. But beat him to death? That’s rage. Unless it was one (un)“lucky“ blow, say to the temple, that did the job.
