But we do live in Cambodia.
Even in the YouKay and many EU states it's official police response to moto muggers is to ram them to incapacitate both moped and rider, as they cause too many bystander injuries if let go.
Likewise, those thieves wouldn't be caught if they got away with $10000

Checking if the Judge had $10k due to it being the proceeds of crime would be pretty pointless heremcam wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 9:51 am I love that more questions are never asked to why people carry so much money around. If he has a legitimate excuse then fair enough but if you got caught with 10k in your bag in my home country it would be taken away until you could prove its not the proceeds of crime.
The big question is why these people go for haircuts or massages with all this money on them

Could well be. My level of investigation into this began and ended at a bar a long time ago, lol.

Yep me too and I'm thinking I never see this back home, and what are they doing to get all that cash with so many people around with nothing.John Bingham wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 12:26 pmI've often been in the bank and have seen very ordinary-looking people come in and count out huge piles of cash at the counter.
Also the bank staff act like it's an everyday occurrence
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

During the first watch I thought he was in a state of panic and confusion. After reading what you said I went back to watch it. Sure enough, he didn't give a fuck about her. He deliberately did that. That just might be the most bizarre ritual I have ever seen and I would have never noticed if you didn't point it out. Thank you.Jerry Atrick wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 9:24 am Classic bystander reaction there; jump three times over the barely deceased in order to avoid being haunted or cursed by that ghost.
First time I saw that, a long enough time ago, I didn't know what the fuck was going on except there was a dead cop on Norodom and a bunch of folk hopping over him and laughing
Still here, in country...

A few other posters pointed out that they think it is done to potentially resuscitate the victim. I see something to support this online also.Ravensnest wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 5:51 pmDuring the first watch I thought he was in a state of panic and confusion. My other half, when I asked her today, said that it's not to avoid being haunted; but to stop the spirit from wandering outside the victims body/keep body and spirit together.
