Ghislaine Maxwell arrested by FBI on charges related to Jeffrey Epstein

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

if she lives..............
I reckon the only reason she’s still alive is because she’s sworn an oath not to name names.
My moneys on a reduced sentence in exchange for silence about who did what.

I apologise for posting the Guardian, it grinds my gears too (as a non-woke, ie real, socialist. )

Speculation grows that Maxwell may try to cut a deal for reduced sentence.

(spoiler; but it doesn't look particularly hopeful, imo)

Bizarre list of banned words and phrases in Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘household manual’

The 58 page manual was recently submitted as evidence in the ongoing trial of Epstein’s longtime girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.

Workers at Jeffrey Epstein’s home were told how to speak, smile at all times, no direct eye contact, never say “yeah.”

Epstein’s longtime housekeeper, Juan Alessi, interpreted the strict household guidelines as “a kind of warning that I was supposed to be blind, deaf, and dumb,” according to his testimony at Maxwell’s trial on Thursday, Insider reported.

“Remember that you see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing, except to answer any question directed toward you,” Alessi read from the manual during his testimony.

Banned words and phrases that workers in the house were forbidden from using include:

“Yeah”
“Sure”
“No problem”
“You bet”
“Gotcha”
“Right”
“I dunno”

Instead, workers were encouraged to say things like “my pleasure,” “I would be very pleased to,” and “You are quite right.” “What you say is as important as what you do,” the manual reads. “Your language must include good diction and exclude swear words and slang. Pay attention to how you speak to Mr Epstein, Ms Maxwell and their guests.” Other directions in the manual include what to say when entering a room, how to respond to a compliment or criticism, and how to answer the telephone.

[Best of all..]

Household staffers at Jeffrey Epstein’s Florida mansion were always instructed to leave a gun in his bedroom.

“Gun placed in [bedside] table drawer,” reads part of a checklist of instructions for the master bedroom of the sprawling home under a section in the 58-page manual called “PRE-ARRIVAL PREPARATIONS.”

The heavily-detailed manual also commanded staff to “never disclose” what Epstein or Maxwell were doing.

“Unless otherwise instructed, NEVER disclose Mr. Epstein or Ms. Maxwell’s activities or whereabouts to anyone,” read an order from the manual.

It really is unbelievable. Epstein is alleged to have ran an international child sex trafficking ring catering to elites with the help of Maxwell.

He 'kills himself' and she doesn't even get offered any sort of deal to expose those still out there who were involved.

The only person to get in any trouble for this huge ring of underage girls being sex trafficked is a woman, lol. That's messed up.

Does it really not come off as obvious that they didn't want her to help identify others involved, or is that tin hat conspiracy stuff?

Definitely no cover-up going on.

It just goes to show what level of dark forces are at work, when nobody in the US government, legal system or the vast majority of the media, seems interested in finding out who else was involved in the abuse of trafficked and/or underage victims, in particular, to not care that a former president was a close friend of Epstein, and a routine visitor to what was to all intents and purposes a pedophiles resort?

What will the sentence structure be? The UK media has no clue, they just keep saying up to 65 years, which is the max for everything and all consecutive. Makes for a good headline but it is surely implausible.

Will the sentence be a series of terms for each count and then ordered to be either concurrent or consecutive, or will it be one of those 15 years - to - 65 years Min/Max types.

Most of the charges only carry a 5 year maximum term except one, the trafficking charge, which is up to 40 years.

I reckon she'll get out one day, but not before at least 10 years served.
