Ghislaine Maxwell arrested by FBI on charges related to Jeffrey Epstein

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Why do you think the " secret people" who killed Epstein waited so long ? He was arrested a few years ago but got a light sentence. Surely those " secret people" would have acted sooner before he got arrested again and made it look like robbery or a home invasion or a car accident, anything to get rid of him. When he was arrested this time they waited a whole month, plenty of time to kill him before he named names. Why did they wait and give him time to do a deal with the authorities ? Why is Maxwell still alive if these "secret people" are so worried she will name names, surely she would have done that already ?

Epstein killed himself because he knew he would never get out of prison. As for naming names they already know the names.

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind whatsoever that there is a huge, huge, seedy underbelly of elite society which most people would find difficult to believe, let alone stomach if the truth were ever to be discovered.

When the cloak of decency, dignity and humanity is removed, such as in times of war, and people (primarily men but not exclusively) feel they can act with absolute impunity, the most horrific, inhumane and atrocious acts start to take place. People who you once regarded as a nice neighbour suddenly become brutal murders. It happens in every war and is happening now in Ukraine. It leads one to believe that laws, civility and social acceptance are the only thing masking humanity's true nature.

We all know that those in very powerful positions, either through status, wealth, influence or a mixture of all three, are largely allowed to act with impunity, shielded by the powerful circle around them who are all also at it. Whether it's something relatively trivial such as tax evasion or something more serious such as the trafficking of underage minors for sexual exploitation. And everything in-between.

Sometimes a crack in the door appears and it looks possible that those on the outside may get a glimpse of what's really going on inside. In those times, people need to be sacrificed. Someone has to take one for the team, such as Epstein and now Maxwell. Epstein is safely in a grave and Maxwell is safely locked up for now, probably soon to join him.

And all the while, the rich elites get to continue to be masters of the universe. Gods who can do whatever they like, whenever they like, no matter how seedy, illegal, immoral, evil or degrading.

Clearly this is something that would be impossible to prove, but I have no doubt whatsoever this is the case.

Kudos to UFC fighter Israel Adesanya, who, while in the spotlight of a UFC press conference, raised the subject of Maxwell being jailed for 20 years, and the elephant in the room that is the whereabouts of Maxwell’s/Epstein’s list of pedo clients/associates, also the apparent lack of interest from the authorities in prosecuting the pedos who Maxwell & Epstein were supplying underage victims to.
The media as usual are silent on the matter.

Things are getting even worse for Maxwell. Almost feel sorry for her. The perils of marrying (and trusting) a younger man.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s appeal against her 20-year jail sentence for sex trafficking is on the brink of collapse after her estranged husband refused to pay her legal fees.
Scott Borgerson, 46, who married Maxwell, 60, in secret in 2016 and ended the relationship over the phone when she was in jail awaiting trial, has ignored her requests to pay a $900,000 legal bill and a further $1 million to challenge her conviction, according to The Sun.
Until the money is transferred her legal team cannot work on the appeal against her 20-year prison sentence for trafficking teenage girls for Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender and financier who killed himself in jail.
Maxwell’s appeal must be filed by the end of January or the disgraced socialite could face the prospect of dying behind bars.
Borgerson controls what remains of Maxwell’s fortune after she transferred £20 million into a trust fund before her arrest in 2020, including £12.6 million from the sale of her New York home.
He recently met Maxwell’s brother Kevin at the New York office of her lawyers, Aidala, Bertuna & Kamins. The Sun reported that Borgerson was “being difficult” but vowed to send the money. “Her lawyers have not been paid. That is a serious matter in itself,” a source told the newspaper. “Worse, she needs to come up with $1 million to fund the appeal. Scott’s given nothing.”
Friends have suggested that Borgerson is trying to force Maxwell to improve his payoff in any divorce settlement. Borgerson has dismissed the claims as “spin” and “fake news”.
A friend of Maxwell told The Mail on Sunday: “He thinks if he drags it out, she will give him most of the money. She is in jail . . . not much she can do from there.”
Maxwell and Borgerson are said to have met in Iceland in 2013 and married three years later. “Her brothers were astonished to find out that not only was she married, but she had made all her money over to Scott,” a source close to the family told the newspaper. Borgerson did not visit Maxwell in jail and refused to attend her trial.
The reports come days after victims of abuse by Epstein sued Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan Chase, accusing the banks of facilitating his sex-trafficking ring and ignoring warnings about their client. The lawsuits claim the banks turned a blind eye for financial gain.
The case against JP Morgan alleges that the bank also held accounts for Maxwell, and that she received more than $30 million between 1999 and 2007 in return for helping with the trafficking ring.

Why is she the only one in jail? Where are all the men who slept with these underaged girls?

Please stop with the "rich elites". There's scum in all walks of life. The rich elites maybe can get away with fancy ass lawyers but they are by no means the only ones that get away with horrendous crimes.

She tried to hide that money by putting it in a trust. So looks good on her. (I don't know that for a fact but I think I heard she was crying poor)
